●041 空気の澄んでくる秋の高尾山からは、遠く房総まで見渡せる。

ミシュランガイドで、世界的にも有名な山になってしまった高尾山は、植物的にも希有な山だ。気候とその緯度によって、実の数多くの植物が見られる。しかし、今ではその貴重な山には風穴が開いてしまっている。首都圏中央連絡自動車道の高尾山トンネルだ。便利さだけを求める人間は、どうして、こんな貴重な山にまで、穴を空けてしまったのだろうか？古くからのこの山の主、烏天狗様が、お怒りになってはいないだろうか？

But now that precious mountain has a hole in it. It is the Takaoyama tunnel on the Chuo Expressway in the Tokyo metropolitan area. ●042 富津の天に近づく階段。

東京湾に、まるで西洋人の鼻のように突き出た岬が、富津だ。その先端には、天に駆け上がることができる、オブジェがある。鋸山から出てくる朝日を拝み、富士山に沈む夕陽を荘厳な心で眺めることができる。
そのコンクリートでできたオブジェを、今回はきれいにデコレーションしてみた。あまりにもわかりやすい変化で、、失礼かも知れない。

●042 Stairs approaching heaven in Futtsu.

●043 泉鏡花が詩に詠み、歌川広重が絵にした秋の秋谷海岸。

アーチがかった白砂の海岸線と奇岩、松と富士山。日本人が好きそうな素材がここにある。
目の前を走る国道134号線は、日本で指折りの常時渋滞の行楽道路。しかし、ここにだけ、小さな無料駐車場と洒落たフレンチレストランがあり、夕陽まで拝めてしまう。現代人ならずとも立ち寄っていた景勝地、人が集まらないわけがない。

●044 眩しい黄色が冬まで楽しめる、東京の銀杏。

東京都のマークにもなっている銀杏は、街路樹や、公園など都内各所で見かけることができる。この東京の銀杏は、各個体差もあるが、かなり長時間にわたって、都民の目を楽しませてくれる。真冬になり、プラタナスや桜がすっかり葉を落としても、銀杏はどっこい、はらはらとまだ葉を舞い散らせている。
でも、やはり散り始めの頃の、陽に当たった黄色が一番いい。この写真はビルに囲まれた、都立戸山公園の銀杏。

●044 Gingko in Tokyo dazzling yellow can enjoy until winter.

●045 落ち葉と霧に覆われた武蔵御嶽神社の参道は、静かな神域だ。

日本狼を奉っている武蔵御嶽神社は、御岳山の山頂にある。その参道は狭くくねっていて、秋にはたくさんの落ち葉に覆われる。霧雨の日は、濡れ落ち葉を踏むサクサクした音ががなくなり、客足も少なくなりあたりは静かな山岳信仰の場に変容する。ここが一種独特の雰囲気をもつ、神域であることを感じさせてくれる瞬間でもある。ここは、明治以降から戦後に、アマテラスチェーン化してしまった神社本庁に属していないことでも、とても好感が持てる。

Musashi Mitake Shrine dedicated to Japanese wolves is on the top of Mt. Mitake. Its approach is narrow and winding, and in autumn it is covered with many fallen leaves. On a drizzle day, there is no crisp sound of stepping on wet leaves, and the number of passengers decreases, and the area transforms into a quiet mountain faith. This is a moment that makes you feel that this is a sacred area with a unique atmosphere. I am very impressed with the fact that it does not belong to the Shinto shrine headquarters, which has become an Amaterasu chain since the Meiji era and after the war.

●046 氷川の神の存在を強く印象づける見沼の水源、紅葉の大宮公園。

今では、氷川神社の一宮とされている大宮氷川神社は、もともと見沼の水の神様だったらしい。そのバックヤードになる大宮公園は、今でも湧き水と樹木が豊富だ。遠く秩父の奥、荒川から流れ出た水がここにたどり着き、木々を育て、秋になるとそこに短い日の光が差し込み、紅葉が一層輝く。

The water which flowed from the inside in Chichibu and Arakawa far arrives here and brings up the trees, and when autumn comes, light on a short day comes in there, and more colored leaves shine.

●047 時代の流れの隙間にできて、やがて消えていくもの。

「品川のお化けトンネル」、「首曲がりトンネル」、タクシー業界からは「行灯（あんどん）殺し」と、かくも斯様な呼び名で呼ばれている、知る人ぞ知る東京のトマソン的名所。正確には、高輪橋架道橋という名称で、トンネルなのに、橋というものおもしろい。160センチ以上の大の大人が首をかしげて通らないと、頭をこすってしまう。上では、数分をおかず轟音を立ててJRの車両が通過、脇では、この近道を知ってる車が、がたがた音を響かせてで通過していく。
もともと、時代の流れと便利さと苦情の間にできた、付け焼き刃的構造物が、今度は、正式にできる新駅によって消滅するという。これも時代が確実に流れていると言うことだろう。

古来より、人間に寄り添ってきた猫たちは、ときに人間以上に人間的な表情を見せる。湯島天神の早咲きの梅を見に行ったときに見かけた、おしゃれをした猫が、何か言いたそう。
たかだか春になったからって、はしゃいでんじゃねーよ。梅が咲いたからって、スマホでパシャパシャ撮るんじゃねーよ。そんなことより、おまえ達人間は、もうケンカの準備を始めてるんじゃねーのか？そっちの方を心配しなよ。そんなことされちゃ、俺達も困っからよう。仲良くしようぜぃ。みんな。

●049 湯島の梅は、空から降り注ぐ。

東京、湯島天神にはたくさんの梅が植えてあり、中でも枝垂れ梅のその迫力は、圧巻だ。天神様の社殿を背景に春空から梅が降ってくるようだ。玉のような、まだ花開く前のつぼみをたくさん持っているときが最高で、あたかも梅の滝を見るようで、その香りとともに、癒されるひとときだ。

●049 Yushima plum blossoms pour down.

Many plums are planted in Tokyo and Yushima Tenjin, and the power of the weeping plums is particularly impressive. It seems that the plum blossoms fall from the spring sky against the backdrop of the Tenjin shrine. ●040 立春の頃にじっと、富士からのいい波を待っている。
