千葉県佐倉にある、国立歴史民俗博物館は、とても楽しいところだ。日本の歴史・文化をテーマに様々な時代の様々な景色を見ることができる。これを一日で見ようと思っていても、かなりの時間を費やしてしまう。例えば、平安時代に貴族がどんな部屋に住んでいたかを再現していたりしている。
しかし、ちょっと俯瞰した見方をすれば、歴史とは、搾取する側の事象がメインになっていることがわかる。というか、かたちとなって残っているものが、当時の権力者中心の目線になってしまっているからかも知れない。
もし可能ならドラえもんに頼んで、その本当の姿を見せてもらいたいものだ。

今、私たちの進むべき方向は、見えているのだろうか？

灯台は、航海をする人が自分の位置を確認する目的で設置されている。昼間船から陸側を見たとき、山緑・茶色い崖・青い空など背景の色に溶け込まないように、目立つように白く塗ってあるのが一般的とのこと。それに合わせてのことなのか、なぜか赤いポストがここでは白く塗ってある。いずれにしても、ちょっと洒落た対応に思えてしまう。
そんな郵政グループが今、かんぽ生命保険の不適切販売問題で、世間から白い目で見られている。もともと、小泉首相のときの郵政民営化で、その分離の仕方にちょっと問題があった。そのひずみがかんぽ生命に来てしまった、ということなのか。ともあれ、｢簡保のおばちゃん」的な親しみやすいイメージを、ここに来てグレーに染めてしまった。早く元の白いイメージに戻してもらいたいものだ。

桜は、白いバックで撮っても大してよく見えない。逆に濃い青空や、黒っぽい幹や壁などをバックにするとよく映える。さらに、菜の花の黄色や、濃い緑などを少しあしらうとその見え方は、また色映えを増す。この写真は、こんなことを考えながら、作り込んでみた。
さて、バランスを欠いているのは、今の永田町。野党のふがいなさが取りざたされているが、元は、与党自民党の政治の私物化。こんなにやりたいようにやってしまっていいのだろうか？自民党には、自浄化作用がなさそうなので、ここは野党とマスコミが色を添えていかないといけないのだが、それもままならない状況だ。早くバランスを取り戻して欲しいものだが、いつになるのだろうか。

毎年、この千鳥ヶ淵公園には、たくさんの人が桜を求めてやってくる。しかし、この周りには、戦没者墓園、靖国神社、昭和館、九段会館など、戦争にまつわる施設がたくさんある。だから、ここの桜を見る度に、先の戦争のことを考えてしまう機会にもなっている。
どうも、この国には、再軍備をして法律を変え、もう一度戦争をしたがっている人がいるように思えてならない。先の戦争は、その後の人々に反省と思いやりをもたらしたはず、と信じて疑わないのだが、どうもすべての人にではないらしい。
このお堀の先には、今は閉館移転したが、東京国立近代美術館の工芸館がある。もと近衛師団司令部庁舎でもあるここは、大戦終戦の1945年、戦争継続を求めた陸軍将校によるクーデター未遂事件の舞台ともなったところだ。それはわずか75年前のことだ。
