I visited Hiroshige Ando's ukiyo-e series, One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, and the place where they were set.
One Hundred Famous Views of Edo is a masterpiece of ukiyo-e paintings by Hiroshige Ando depicting famous places in Edo City from the 3rd to the 5th year of Ansei (1856-58). Of course, the picture itself is wonderful, but when you look at it, you can feel the breath of Edo at that time, and you will be invited to nostalgia. Furthermore, if you investigate various things, you will be moved by seeing Hiroshige's detailed consideration and getting a glimpse of the customs and customs of the time. Today's Tokyo is changing at a tremendous pace, and the scenery that Hiroshige would have seen at that time has also changed significantly. I actually went to such a place and posted a commentary on youtube with photos and videos of the actual ukiyo-e and the place that was the subject of what is happening now.
Please enjoy the Ukiyo-e trip for a while.
